Free mode uses the speech-recognition capability provided by your browser. The app does not create an account or store your transcript in an app database.
Your transcript, selected language, caption-size setting, accuracy-mode preference, and speaker names you type are saved in your browser’s local storage so the app can restore them. You can use Clear to remove the transcript, or clear this site’s data in your browser to remove its saved settings and names.
When high accuracy mode is configured and you turn it on, microphone audio is streamed through richgibbs.dev to Deepgram for live transcription and speaker labels. The application server does not store audio, transcripts, or speaker names. High accuracy mode is currently unavailable when its server configuration is not active.
Person 1 / Person 2 labels and any names you save stay only in this browser. They are not uploaded. Automatic voice splitting uses Deepgram speaker labels while high accuracy mode is on; the app maps those labels to the names you keep on the phone.
Your browser and Deepgram operate under their own policies. Read Deepgram’s Privacy Policy before using high accuracy mode.
